Southern Link: when the sea becomes one with the sky
臺東站 Taitung Station
南迴線是臺灣環島鐵路網絡最後完成，也是沿線隧道、橋梁最多的一段，西起屏東枋寮、東迄臺東站，全長98.2公里，興築時還意外發現卑南文化遺址。位於臺東太麻里的多良車站，由於地理位置偏遠、乘客稀少，於2006年結束旅客服務，但多良車站月臺居高臨下，可遠眺太平洋，有「全臺灣最美的車站」的稱號。
The Southern Link is the last line to be completed in the around-the-island rail network (Circular Line); it is also the line with the most tunnels and bridges. It starts in Fangliao, Pingtung County and stretches to Taitung Station, for a total of 98.2 km. The remains of Puyuma artifacts were found during construction of the Southern Link. Tuoliang Station, located in Taimali, Taitung, was closed in 2006 due to a lack of usage by passengers, but its platform overlooked the Pacific Ocean, giving it the name "The Most Beautiful Station in Taiwan."
